This is my first year as part of the National Park’s Forest Fest, an opportunity to explore the park in its fall glory by learning about forest history, ecology, and art. In addition to my Yoga Hike, there will be horse-drawn wagon rides, woodworking and portable sawmill demos, wood crafts for kids, and more. All for FREE!!!
Of course, there’s no better way to explore the forest than through the lens of yoga. Join us for a moving meditation along the less-traveled paths of the park such as the little-known Water Garden, North Peak, and One Less Traveled Trails. We’ll hike all the way to the Pogue and end at the Prosper Road trailhead, where a shuttle will bring us back to the Visitor Center. Expect lots of great yoga stops and a relaxing meditation at the end of this event sponsored by the National Park Service.
No need to sign up; come enjoy Forest Fest and plan to be at the Formal Gardens (by the Mansion) by 1:45 so we can start the hike promptly by 2 pm. Feel free to contact me with questions by clicking here.
