Experience a unique mix of movement, breath work, and chanting that will enliven your entire being! This class is geared towards newcomers to the practice of Kundalini Yoga, the Yoga of Awareness. Unlike many yoga styles, we focus more on energy awareness than on accomplishing a specific pose. Instead, we use accessible, dynamic movement and different types of breathing methods to develop our attention to the energies of our bodies. Some short chants will be introduced to help practitioners see the overall context of this work--to explore the true nature of the soul. To heighten the sense of bliss, we’ll close the class with a relaxation meditation that will include a brief massage. Join us for the bliss and mild euphoria from this life-changing practice!
