Don't let summer rush by - slow down with us and notice each wonderful, warm summer moment of the glory that is Vermont in midsummer. Experienced yoga teacher “Miss Amanda” Anderson and visiting mindfulness meditation teacher Gena Adams-Riley will be guiding you through a day of yoga, hiking, mindfulness meditation, discussion, and a fantastic communal lunch. We will practice mindfulness in various settings: not only on the cushion, but in the woods, on the mat, and even in the hot tub!
We’ll begin our day at the Camp Plymouth State Park in Ludlow, VT with a Yoga Hike, an invigorating moving meditation led by Miss Amanda where we use the natural features of the forest to support our yoga poses. We’ll then reward ourselves with a gourmet vegetarian lunch at Good Commons, a sweet, homey retreat center dedicated to the mission of providing calm, healing space. Afterward, we’ll connect with each other with a discussion on maintaining mindfulness in our daily lives. With 18 years of meditation practice and a thriving meditation-teaching business, Gena has much wisdom to share from her experience.
We’ll continue retreating through the afternoon: first with a guided meditation by Gena, followed by a soak in the brand-new Good Commons hot tub, and culminating in a deeply-restorative yoga class led by Miss Amanda.
Invest in yourself and slow down summer for this day that you will not soon forget. Your investment in this all-inclusive event is $110, and if you bring a friend, each of you will receive a $10 discount. Please preregister by contacting Miss Amanda at amanda@innerliftyoga.com
